Panini America’s Newest Autograph Arrivals Shed Light on Future Basketball Releases :

Even now, as Panini America’s 2014-15 Immaculate Collection release continues blazing a super-premium trail throughout the hoops collecting universe,
work inside Panini America HQ continues unabated on upcoming NBA blockbusters.

In fact, a bevy of big-ticket autograph arrivals in recent days (from the likes of Kevin Durant, Andrew Wiggins, Shaquille O’Neal and more)
has served to illuminate the imminent arrivals of 2014-15 Spectra Basketball, 2014-15 Panini Preferred
and a brand-new creation called 2014-15 Panini Luxe .

While we’ve yet to provide complete details on Luxe up to this point (stay tuned for those),
Spectra and Preferred really need no introduction. And as you’ll see in the gallery below both are dressed to thrill for 2014-15.

With Spectra set to arrive in late May and Preferred roughly one month later, we thought we’d show off just some
of the stunning new on-card autographs that have arrived at Panini America HQ in recent weeks.

In addition, the gallery below provides your first extended preview of Luxe (which looks to become an instant classic)
and some of the older cards signed by Durant during a sit-down session with Panini America officials last week.

Panini America Provides Detailed First Look at 2014-15 Panini Luxe :

If you’ve paid close attention to The Knight’s Lance or the Panini America Instagram feed in the last few weeks,
you’ve no doubt seen subtle glimpses of something called 2014-15 Luxe Basketball.

Today, you’re going to see a whole lot more.

2014-15 Luxe Basketball is a hits-only, high-end NBA creation that will hit hobby shops
in mid July as one of the most limited products of the season.

Each four-card box will deliver three on-card autographs and one jumbo-prime memorabilia card;
the product also will feature the first metal-bordered cards in Panini America’s history (Luxe Autographs).

Every card produced for Luxe will be numbered to 99 or less and will include either an on-card autograph,
a jumbo piece of memorabilia or both.

We’ll have plenty more to preview on 2014-15 Luxe Basketball in the coming days here on The Knight’s Lance.
Until then, though, here’s a breakdown of additional highlights . . .

Look for dynamic die-cut autographs featuring the NBA’s biggest stars.

The Luxe Autographs insert features the first metal-bordered cards in Panini America’s history
and on-card autographs from some of the game’s top rookies, current stars and all-time legends.

The aptly named Memorabilia Autographs chase delivers some of the finest hard-signed memorabilia cards of the year
and is paralleled by a Prime version that’s numbered to 25 or less.

The Memorabilia Die-Cuts Prime insert boasts a rainbow-array of die-cut prime-memorabilia cards
(Red, Blue, Gold and Black) numbered to as low as one. And here are the images . . .

Adding to the rapidly expanding amount of high-end NBA card options, 2014-15 Panini Luxe is a new creation that focuses
on hits that are all numbered to 99 or less.

Metal-framed cards set the product apart from the other premium Panini releases.

Each one-pack box yields three on-card autographs and one jumbo memorabilia card and covers top rookies, current stars and former greats.

Luxe Autographs are the featured option in 2014-15 Panini Luxe Basketball and stand out thanks to a metal design.

The cards are especially notable because they are the first metal-bordered cards in Panini's history. Signed on-card in white ink,
Luxe Autographs also feature a variety of parallels with different foil colors. Die-Cut Autographs
are a more traditional signed card, but with a unique shape.

Memorabilia Autographs are signed on-card and add a large jersey swatch.
A Prime parallel is available with a print run of 25 copies or less.

Lastly, collectors can find one jumbo prime relic card per box. Memorabilia Die-Cuts Prime promise premium jersey pieces
and can be found in several parallels, including Red, Blue, Gold and Black. Luxe Memorabilia Prime offers a similar concept,
but without the die-cut design.
